The Packs

The Merridor wolves tend to stay out of the other pack's way. They don't like fighting much, or any sort of confrontation for that matter. They allied first with Narcashia for fear of the Valcarron pack. The latter has been getting crueler and angrier with the downgrading of the Merridorn metal work, but hey, it's not their fault. Almost all are magic weavers and they tend to be considered somewhat eccentric by the other three packs.

The Narcashian wolves always seem to be everywhere and know everything, even before it happens. The sons and daughters of Loki, they are able to sneak into and out of other pack lands easily without being caught or even suspected. The tend to be looked down upon by the Merridors, but the latter would never say so outright for fear of losing their protector. Even though they are sneaky and can be heartless little liars, they live within a close knit pack. Everyone helps, everyone cares at least a little. They are very accepting and forgiving to their own pack members, however if a stranger were to trespass on their land blood would be shed. Narcashia is very exclusive to outsiders.

The Valcarron wolves are the brutes of the forest. The biggest and strongest wolves tend to fill this pack. An emotional bunch, they are quick to anger, but also quick to laugh. They aren't necessarily war loving creatures so much as they are passionate about their beliefs, and out of passion comes anger. However, love and joy also come. The Valcarron pack lives in extremes, never in between emotions. Either depressed or jubilant or furious. They tend to think of themselves as the elites even though they are usually looked down upon by the Narcashia and Merridor packs.

The Yuraquise wolves are the biggest group of misfits you've ever seen. A mixture of wolves from the other three packs who decided they either didn't fit in or no longer agreed with their pack's rules, and loner wolves who missed out on the Star's gifts. Often called the Outcasts simply because they are the oddballs who wanted something different. They are a very open bunch and very accepting of any who want to join. Somehow the wolves of this pack manage to get along...usually. At least no one has been killed yet!
